Hailing from Melbourne, Michael is a professional music producer, recording and mixing engineer.

At this years ARIA Awards, Michael is nominated in two categories - Best Produced Album and Best Mixed Album for his work on Baker Boy’s debut album 'Gela'.

Michael has worked on countless gold and platinum selling records over the years for artists such as The Avalanches (Wildflower), Kian (Waiting / Bliss), Illy (It Can’t Wait), and Baker Boy (Mr La Di Da Di / Gela).

He cut his teeth at Melbourne’s infamous Sing Sing Studios, under the wing of mentors Adam Rhodes and Jan Skubiszweski. Michael came up the ranks as the studio assistant engineer and a few years on found himself engineering for some of Australia’s biggest acts.

With over 20 years experience, collecting, buying, selling, importing, distributing and DJing records, Michael has developed an extensive knowledge of musical styles. This allows him to identify traditionally how music has sounded in the past, and how different genres can be merged and transformed into something new. Retaining feelings of nostalgia from past genres when creating new music is always very exciting and inspiring to him.

Michael is currently collaborating with up-and- coming artists out of his production company Tracksuit Audio.
